Ao: A burst of lemony florals extending out into a big bouquet. I get an accord similar to pineapple but its honeysuckle or magnolia in combination with other notes. There is a cooling almost lacquer-like quality to this as it moves into the heart. It’s bold with a thin green lifeblood pulsing through. It’s a living, breathing fully bloomed gardening a bottle. Think sea spray and tropical lei, tall skinning fruited cocktails and fun in the sun. (83%)

Notes: Yuzu, Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Jasmine Sambac, Honeysuckle, Magnolia, Benzoin, Vetiver, Patchouli

: This one’s a bit unusual at the top, a lot more subdued than the first selection here. It’s darker and more angular with deep floral tones blended with this aromatic yet resinous resonance. What seems to be doing the talking here is the opoponax with a spiced vanilla bean. The perfume has this transitional, metamorphosing quality to it. As the colors and tones shapeshifter I get a personal perfume that emits a slowing down of time, a reflective and almost meditative quality. It may tickle your nose and your fancy at the same time.

Ua: This reminds me of one of those exquisite imported wine and cheese plates, before or after dinner. Yes, it’s pungent and a lil’ raw, and that is just for starters. Undoubtedly their best offering is also their most unusual, and non-traditional. This perfume is a fully laden, boozy rose that is as effervescent as it is darkly tinged along its edges. This fragrance manages to take a bittersweet liqueur with a twist, and then mesh, mix and otherwise reconstruct it into this unique composition that sort of defies description. To my shnoz, it’s something quite new in perfume, it’s the whole after party in a single bottle. Ua courses with so much pageantry, and mystery, easily not conforming to trends while making it’s very own — this space between elegance, gourmand and something altogther different. If you are looking for a statement fragrance for this season look no further. Prost! (90%)
